Centre-Ville – Jeremy Price at Visual Voice Gallery

Jeremy Price’s Centre Ville is a collection of paintings that display the diversity of Montreal’s urban fabric by capturing different neighborhoods and streets. The cityscapes in his work represent a personal portrayal of the city; a mix of childhood memories and the settings that have become his new home. The paintings are not meant to be wholesome sterile depictions of Montreal’s urban environment but rather show the city in an unbiased fashion, as it is experienced in its day to day form by commuters and the people who live there. In essence, Price’s work captures the fleeting moments of everyday life.
