The Belgo Report welcomes two new galleries to the building, as well as the transformation of two established exhibition spaces!

Galerie Pangée has moved into space 412 from their previous location on rue St-Paul in Montreal’s Old Port. Pangée is celebrating their move on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 with the vernissage of their inaugural exhibition Comme un murmure (suite), featuring photographs by Normand Rajotte.

Also new in the building is Galerie Nicolas Robert, who opened their doors on August 25 and launched their first exhibition, Christian Knudsen‘s show Perspective, on September 10, 2011. Find them in Galerie Donald Browne’s old location, space 524.

We already mentioned the expansion and transformation of Galerie Roger Bellemare, who is now collaborating with the newly established Galerie Christian Lambert. Both galleries are jointly operating the spaces 501 and 502. They also launched their new space on September 10, 2011 with their exhibitions Angèle Verret: Écrire autrement, Oscar Varese: Tableaux, and À l’affiche: Documents.

Finally, space 514, which has been operating somewhat under the radar for the last few years as a rental space operated by Atelier Bric, has now re-branded itself with a new name: Le 514. It has a new website, and offers “menu” of services for artists.
