The Centre des arts actuels Skol has transformed itself into a hothouse of innovation. Rather than showcasing the products of artists’ creativity, Skol is inviting the public to become creative themselves. The project Promiscuous Infrastructures is a playhouse for innovators, thinkers, tinkerers, debaters, creators, poets and artists. Everything is laid out for you: meeting spaces for brain-storming and discussion, tables and work stations for you to create your own e-zine, you can submit your idea to the Awesomest Foundation to win a $500 grant, you can put on headphones and listen to audio works, there is free coffee for those who need an extra jolt, or you can make use of the installation “sandbox”.
